DIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced executive to join our team as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company and providing strategic guidance to support the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency and effectiveness across all business functions
- Oversee the supply chain and logistics operations, including procurement, inventory management, and transportation
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute growth strategies
- Oversee the development and implementation of new products or services
- Manage the development and maintenance of systems and processes to support business operations
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Act as a key spokesperson for the company to external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and suppliers
- Manage the budget and allocate resources effectively to support company goals
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth
- Contribute to the development of the company’s overall business strategy
- Act as a mentor and coach to team members to support their professional development
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the B2B chemical distribution industry
- Have the necessary high-level operation and management skills
